occurs naturally as the mineral zincite. because zinc oxide does not absorb into the skin when applied with a lotion, it sits on top of the skin and reflects both UVA and UVB rays! And because it isn’t absorbed into the skin, it doesn’t irritate or cause allergic reactions.

(also known as titanium (IV) oxide or titania) is the naturally occurring oxide of titanium. Titanium Dioxide has high UV light absorbing capabilities & has been found to be resistant to discoloration under UV light. It acts as a physical sunscreen as opposed to a chemical sunscreen.
